SC Profi is a patented shielding gas tool with a 3-lip sealing system with gas distribution disc in sintered metal. For pipes with inner diameter from 13 to 215 mm. The tool consists of a gas hose with female connection, a 3-lip sealing disc with a large gas distribution disc in sintered metal, a flexible pipe connection and finally, a 3-lip sealing disc with gas outlet plate. The design means that the shielding gas is atomized through the sinter plate, filling the space between the sealing discs and forcing all the oxygen out of the pipe through the output disc. The flushing time is only 1.5 minutes, after which you weld with guaranteed quality (< 50 ppm O2).

CuNi-alloyed LMA all-current electrode which produces a weld metal with good corrosion resistance against salt water and flue gases, and was used for weather-resistant steels and for structural steel in ships. The weld metal has excellent mechanical properties. OK 73.08 is particularly suitable for welding armor steel in icebreakers and other ships operating in conditions where protective paint wears away. Intended for e.g. CORTEN, Domex 350W, UHBCCP etc. The good mechanical strength properties also make it suitable for welding general high-strength steels as well as ordinary and high-strength ship steels of A, D and E quality.

The most widely used alloy type for welding aluminum alloys. OK Autrod 5356 is a magnesium alloy aluminum wire for MIG welding of salt water resistant Al-Mg alloys containing up to 5%Mg, but was also used for its relatively high strength. Alloys of type 5XXX, which are welded with OK Autrod 5356 and give a weld metal with more than 3% Mg, can be sensitive to cracks caused by stress corrosion at a working temperature above 65°C. The alloy cannot be heat treated.
